A Day Care Center for kids is a place of fun and learning. With video security systems, you learn about the kids’ progress and keep them safe at the same time. This is a double whammy for your investment.

No time to think about it?

Hemming and hawing about installing video security systems in your Day Care Center because of the expense is like refusing the extended hand of a lifeguard when you are drowning. Such comparison may be excessive, but when thinking of the safety of the children, you have to go the extremes.

The responsibility of everybody’s safety is yours because the parents have trusted their children to your care. You have to play your cards right in the choice of video security systems for your Day Care Center. Video security systems will provide you a better way to observe the development of the children. You can effectively provide input to improve the child’s performance in some areas and coach your day care center workers and caregivers on handling the children, all based on your observation through the video security systems’ closed circuit TV.

What do you need?

For your video security systems, you need high resolution cameras, speedy capture of images, and cameras that work well in all lighting conditions. You will also require audio recording and covert cameras in some areas of the building. This is to ensure that you have not left any ground uncovered, any stone unturned. A careless omission may cause you problems later on.

Video security systems have different equipments which can be incorporated when you install one. Here are some of the things you will need for your Day Care video security systems:

• Security Video Intercom – This includes a monitor and a flush mount camera. The two-way manual switch will allow you to check on a monitor or two and you can check all entry ways in the day care center.

• Quad video monitoring system – With this, you can check four areas in the building simultaneously. This saves you time, as well.

• Wireless B/W Pinhole Camera – This ready-to-run camera transmits and receives high resolution images from a range of up to 300 feet. This can help you check on the caregivers if they are treating the children well.

• Digital video recorder – You can play and record simultaneously without interrupting or stopping the recording.

• Lighting systems – Have back lighting and other lighting applications installed for better performance of your cameras and monitors.

Studying behavior through candid camera

In addition to the children’s security, you can study their behavior. You can detect aggression, depression, and other signs of negative behavior, which you can deal with effectively. You can also discuss your concerns with their parents or caregivers.

Behavior is a clue to the child’s stress levels. You can help a child overcome difficulties by knowing how he is faring. Happy and safe children are your best bets. Make your Day Care Center a safe and happy place with smart video security systems. After all, all children need a haven to be children.

When economic times are tough, like they are right now, it can be difficult to afford to live a comfortable life. You have probably heard it before, that having one’s bachelor degee will earn you an extra $1,000,000 during your lifetime, as opposed to just having your high school diploma. But what if you are unable to afford to pay for college or university? Well, thankfully president Obama is reaching out to single parents by increasing funding to single parent scholarships and grants.

Single parent scholarships for moms and dads are currently available in every state across our nation, being offered by government and private sources more than ever before. When Obama took office back in 2008, one of the first things he did was increase the Federal Pell Grant to more than $5000. The Pell Grant is free money for single moms and single dads, it never has to be paid back, and can be used for a variety of things related to your education, such as tuition, books, childcare, housing, transportation, and even groceries.

In addition to the Pell Grant, there are countless other single parent scholarships available, such as the TEACH scholarships and SMARTS grant, worth another $8000 to $9000 towards school. Applying for scholarships is easier than ever too, with many free online services that will guide you through the process. There are also free websites that can, with just some basic personal information, show you a list of all the scholarships and grants you are eligible to apply to receive. You have nothing to lose and a brighter, more wealthy future to gain.

An extremely large number of children all around the world are in serious need of help. Sponsoring a child is a great way of helping these poor children live a better life, and by sponsoring a child with a charity donation you will feel a certain warm feeling of satisfaction when you will see that a child which had no hope is now grown-up and happy thanks to your help.

A recent research has proven that nowadays once at three seconds a child dies because of the lack of a home, food and water – things that we can’t even imagine our lives without. Needless to say that for these children, schools and education is a luxury that they can only dream about.

If you decide to sponsor a child you will be able to choose the location where you want him to be, and then you can pick the special child you want to help from a list that also has the pictures of those children.

You will then be connected with that child, he will know your location and your name, and he will constantly write to you and tell you how he is feeling and what he is doing. If you want you can also send the child a picture of you and a letter where you introduce yourself to him, so that he knows who is helping him.

Your charity donation sponsorship can bring clean and fresh water, medication, treatment and also school and education to one of the many children in need.

You will be the only person that sponsors one child, because there are many of them and too little sponsors to assign more that one sponsor to one child. Therefore, you will be one of the most important persons in his life. If you want, after some time you can even visit that child and see how he’s doing and in what way you’ve helped him. You’re surely receive a warm welcome from the child and his family.

Child sponsorships are usually done through charitable organizations specialized in charity donations. These organizations also make investments with the money they receive so that every dollar you send is most likely multiplied. Besides providing the child you choose and his family with their basic need, a part of your investment is used to train volunteers that go directly at the heart of the matter and help the people there by providing vaccinations and nutritional programs. Also, with the money coming from the people’s charity donations, some other major projects can come to life, like the building of schools with all the needed educational equipment, roads and bridges over the rivers so that children from a wide area can come to the schools, and also water and irigation systems – clean and fresh water is highly important for people’s health.

My son Jack recently joined Cub Scouts here in our community. His “den” leader is an older man, sort of a grandfather type who is very wise and shares some interesting information with the boys (did you know that if you’re in need of the police, you should dial 311 and not 411?). When a boy becomes a Cub Scout, he receives a book about what it means to take on this role. An early part of the book is about following a “set of values.” They encourage the boys to know, commit, and practice these values. This got me thinking about how Smart Women know, commit, and practice their own values.

When I was growing up, I don’t remember many conversations about values. I was told to always say please and thank you. Always tell the truth. Always be on time. Respect your elders. These were the basic “values” in our home. Good stuff to be sure, and ideas that I pass on to my own children today. However, the world has changed since I was a little girl. Women today play so many roles. We are creative beings with Big Ideas, Dreams, and Goals. We take care of our spouse or life partner, children, aging parents. We run large and small businesses. We are active in our communities. We are the “glue” that keeps everyone and everything together. (I went to visit my Mom and sister for a few days and before I departed, I handed my husband Greg a 3-page single-spaced document of what needed to be done over the course of 5 days to keep the family running smoothly!)

Women today need to create the time and space to think about what truly holds value for them. They need to know, commit, and practice these values. If you need some support in identifying your own values, I’ve included some ideas for you below:

1. Self-care – Do you take time to value and honor yourself? Spa days, lunch with nutritious friends–you know, gals who champion you and make you laugh. Quiet time just for you to journal, meditate, take a walk or exercise? This is typically the last thing women do–take care of themselves, so I’m putting it first on this list!

2. Couple – Do you make time for date night with your significant other? Time to re-connect is so important. When I get busy and overwhelmed with everything, this can be the area that I neglect. I take my husband for granted sometimes. The reconnection is so important (especially if you have children!)

3. Children – Do you have date night with your children? Greg and I started doing this recently and it has been a valuable experience. We take turns spending time with each of our children alone. Jack and I went to the Dodger game last week and the bond between us was strengthened so much just from that one outing.

4. Family – Having quality time with family is essential. I feel fortunate that both my parents are still living and in good health. Although the East Coast is their home, I make time to call and plan to get together as often as I can.

5. Business and Career – What do you value about your business? What’s the purpose or mission? Why did you start your business? What value are you providing to your clients and customers?

6. Community – What do you value about your community? Is there something that you are passionate about? Are you serving in some way that feels right for you?

In my Women’s Success Circles, we focus on values and what they mean to each woman. The six mentioned above give you a guideline to get you thinking about what’s important. Sometimes we know what they are and we can even verbalize these values. Do you commit to them? Do you practice them? That’s the bigger question. Women oftentimes will say “yes” to something because we want to help others. The challenge is it may not be something that’s on our “values radar screen.”

I invite you to think about what your values are. Know them. Commit to them. Practice them. You’ll feel so empowered, energized, and inspired when you do.

Anything is possible. Everything is waiting for you.

*****

Child custody is a legal term that is often used by the family courts to describe the rights and responsibilities of divorced parents and their minor children, the residency or placement of the children, and the relationship and/or amount of contact the children have with each parent. When divorced parents are unable to agree on such issues, the family courts are often left with the difficult task of determining the best custodial arrangement of the children and parenting plan for the parents. The more parents understand what is involved in child custody determinations the more informed they will be in making decisions regarding their children after a divorce.

Rights and responsibilities of the parents

The rights and responsibilities of each parent to their minor children includes decisions regarding the raising and general welfare of the children on issues such as the children’s education, medial care, dental care, and religion. Such rights and responsibilities are commonly referred to as legal custody of the children.

Residency or placement of the children

The residency or placement of children refer to where the children will live and spend majority of his/her time. Often times a child will live with one parent more than the other parent and the parent that the child lives with the most will typically be responsible for the day-to-day care of the child. In some cases, the child will live equally with both parents, close to equally with both parents, or live a significant amount of time with each parent and the parents will share in the responsibilities and day-to-day care of the child. The residency or placement of child and day-to-day care of the child are commonly referred to as physical custody of the children.

Relationship and/or amount of contact the children have with each parent

In the case where the child resides or lives primarily with one parent, the time spent with the other parent is often referred to as visitation. The parent that the child lives with more is often referred to as the custodial parent and the parent with visitation is referred to as the noncustodial parent. In such cases, the noncustodial parent will typically have a visitation schedule that describes his/her contact with the children. The visitation schedule is sometimes referred to as a parenting arrangement.

When divorced parents are unable to agree on the rights and responsibilities of the parents and their minor children, the residency or placement of the children, and the relationship and/or amount of contact the children have with each parent, the family courts are often left with the difficult task of determining the best custodial arrangement of the children and parenting plan for the parents. The more parents understand what is involved in child custody determinations the more informed they will be in making decisions regarding their children after a divorce.

Home front, you do not dig the key, no fingerprint, but with eyes that looked at the big front door Camera , Also looked at the camera you about a few laps later, the camera drew back, as soon as warmly: “Welcome home.” Doors open.

Welcome to our Intelligent Building All of this comes from the door began. In front of intelligent building is a charge of security and access control of the camera, exactly is a robot that uses face recognition Technology And extract feature information, you can determine who can be allowed to enter the house. Moreover, this robot has a very interactive, it is very interested in moving people, will change with the movement of people concerned about the degree, and will change shape as the eyes, like Mimi, glad when it will greet you not happy at the time? you still Do not test it better.

It as a loyal dog, care of the house with you, as long as you like, you can even make it naughty child care, without fear of any unpleasant incidents. Intention, at least in some unknown person came to your door when the front of the robot will use the expression of interest in this very strange uninvited guest, so that in the event of anything before the first scare away these people.

House this time there is no wisdom can be as simple facilities Why? No, it will have more interactive features, and make people feel comfortable, they do not need to worry about you too much. With the front of the robot in this baby, do not have to worry about trivial issues’ve forgotten my house keys, and this guy say hello on the line? Just as there are people in the same house all the time.

Usual, we are most worried about leaving the house, the home no one to take care of. How do plants and flowers in the house, the house dog, bird how to do? How manage home appliances, home of the real situation? Have a new Smart Home All this can be resolved.

First of all, at least have an intelligent home server, the server is used to control and feed dogs, water plants, and related matters. When you remotely manage, they can log on the server, control and configure these options, and make timely instructions.

To the current technology can do this, tenants have been smart phone ringing phone is designed to control the water system, thousands of kilometers away, as long as the dial home phone on the line.

Now, smart home system can do this all the more intelligent? According to predetermined procedures, at the right time, according to the different climate and temperature, watering program can start automatically. If you want the remote to see if watering effect, through an online camera can be monitored, by the way you can look at the situation at home.

, Of course, in most cases, the cameras are not smart enough to follow if Alarm Linkage system, which better and better. Recently China Taiwan Province, households have digital cameras to see through the thief to steal home, and then direct alarm?, However, when we see someone steal home, while they exposure outside the home, that feeling of helplessness is indeed a kind of torture .

So fixed camera to be eliminated, we can use another kind of artifact? Patrol robot. The robot can be in the house under the alignment of the inspection, police found suspicious circumstances in addition to outside, but also according to the robot the ability to counter the strategies of different settings, this ratio stood before the camera see people stealing their but helpless feeling much better.

Also, in addition to the police, accident cases, smart house also should be able to automatically power off, or if we are taking a trip and forgot to turn off the switch, the intelligent home will also help you solve the problem. In the phone that one has integrated remote control side, so convenient. If the phone lost how to do, it does not matter, you can monitor the function is set to hidden, picked up the phone user can not operate these things.

Smart home system can do more for us, Just imagine, when you rest at home, Car Suddenly the alarm blaring, you may always a stride out the door to see, now?? Front Probe Already started to return the message that there are children playing in front hit the car, all right, we are relieved.

The evening, started the night in front of the probe mode, you can see the situation around, but no particular movement, it will not pass this information to the homeowners, but when people go into the context of monitoring, the system will automatically activated emergency response mode.

To house a nanny Once fully networked home environment was occupied by the central control server, in addition to the basic control system, we can also store user data and information. Users can easily access via mobile phone data needed. Such as travel time, forgot to bring the customer card, as long as the phone call in their own database on line. In addition, the home server also assume the task of small-scale data centers, not only can store photographs, but also and can be sent to the need to demand the display device.

In the smart home system, the display device via the network connection can also serve as functional lighting, as long as the users prefer, you can show all kinds of pictures on the wall and the scene, and lighting effects under climate change. For example, wedding anniversary, you can cast a warm romantic tone, but when you need great brightness, you can set the lighting fully open. As the LED is embedded in the walls, we can also watch a movie in the wall, the effect of the strong, the projector can not be with them shoulder to shoulder. The only problem is that costs are high.

Now, the house has been furnished a number of sensors, the ceiling lighting system also simulate the feeling, can walk with the user automatically turn on in certain areas. Each guest entering the room can be put on the perceived body temperature and pulse bracelets, so your house can be adjusted according to the case collected in different regions of the temperature setting, so that everyone feels comfortable.

It also followed the home as warm and safe haven, but also should have a monitoring function, the current home care there are two directions, one is already developed the monitoring function of the mattress has to help health care workers When the patient is not clear that patients with signs, and trophies with first-aid system is connected, it can avoid

As a parent, you aspire to give your kids everything they want. It’s so hard to say no sometimes because you just want them to be happy all the time. Even though it may be difficult, you’ve got to draw the line somewhere. Teenagers, especially, need to have rules enforced because structure and discipline will make them stronger, more responsible adults. So essentially you are doing them an injustice by being such a pancake. If you are completely lost and have no idea where to lay down the law, just take a look at my list of things teenagers shouldn’t be allowed to do.

1. Gamble. Obviously they aren’t allowed to hit up the casinos yet and thank God for that, but you should also prevent them from gambling with their friends. Games like Texas Hold’em have become increasingly popular with high school students across the nation, but allowing your child to play will encourage them to frivolously waste their time and money. Unfortunately you can’t always police your child’s actions when they are out with their friends, but certainly avoid encouraging these behaviors by buying your son or daughter a poker table this Christmas.

2. Sleepover at their boyfriend or girlfriend’s house. This is the absolute worst thing you can do as a parent. It will most certainly give your child a lax outlook on the dangers of promiscuity. Some parents rationalize they would rather have their kids at home them out at a friends, but by allowing this kind of behavior, you are basically giving your child permission to sleep around.

3. Drink alcohol. You hear plenty of horror stories these days of parents providing alcohol for their children and their friends at parties. This is a huge no-no. Not only is it illegal to provide alcohol to a minor, but will also push your child towards alcoholism and drug abuse. Alcohol is certainly a gateway drug when used irresponsibly by teenagers. So don’t make this common mistake because it can be truly detrimental to your child’s mental and physical health.

Parenting is one of the most difficult and stressful jobs you will ever have, but it’ll all be worth it when your son or daughter grows up to be a valuable member of society. Make smart decisions and be more of a parent than a friend and you’re child will thank you for it later in life.
